Totsdance - Termly Lesson, Party and Workshop Plans for Busy Dance Teachers

Hello, I'm Zoe

I help aspiring and seasoned (dance) teachers save time and stress with ready-made lesson plans. I share my expertise as a professional ballerina, mother and Totsdance owner to help you bring the joy of dance to children.

I started this journey soon after having my two children. I wanted to work part-time (ideally mornings) to be able to pick up my youngest child from pre-school at midday and my eldest after school. Starting a dance class primarily for toddlers and those not yet at school was an obvious option but I wasn’t sure where to start. I knew I didn’t want to be a part of a franchise and whatsmore couldn’t afford one at the time! I came across a wonderful teacher that had the same ethos as me - educational holistic dance classes to little ones involving weekly themes rather than the more commercial/boogieing around a room. I set up my own school and over the next decade rebranded and revised, devised and created fresh new lesson plans. I have put all my expertise and many hundreds of hours of work into these plans for like-minded dance teachers to help and support you on this exciting journey. 

I first started dancing at the age of two and subsequently won a place at the English National Ballet School. I performed with the Bolshoi Ballet and for the late Lady Diana. On becoming a professional ballerina, I danced at the prestigious Deutsche Oper Ballet in Berlin for 7 years. Once back in the UK, I danced with the Northern Ballet Theatre. I retired from the stage to have my 2 children and motherhood, combined with my career in ballet led to a new and exciting career with Totsdance which ran for nine successful years with over one hundred students. Due to popularity, Totsdance grew from children and parent morning classes to after school Totsballet classes as well as seasonal termly Workshops and private Parties.
